Vranov nad Tupou, October 5 (TASR) - The city of Vranov nad Tupou has in recent days begun to cover the football field at Lúčna Primary School with an auditorium. The construction was financed at a total financial cost of 1.6 million euros thanks to support from the state budget in the amount of 1 million euros, and the Prešov Autonomous Region contributed 200,000 euros to the project. The hall will allow you to use the playground with artificial turf all year round.

“Because this is a relatively demanding investment project and had to be technically designed and prepared, the process of preparing the public procurement itself took much longer,” Mayor Jan Rajan explained why the local government started building two years after the government subsidy was allocated.

The 50 x 60 m hall is being built by the contractor so that the existing playing field is not damaged by artificial turf. “We will partially assemble the building construction off the square,” The company’s director, Peter Utka, explained that the work will be largely carried out using cranes. However, according to Ščotek’s words, the structurally demanding construction should be completed by the end of the year.
