On the occasion of the opening of the G7, nine leaders took a pose in Cornwall this Friday evening. They were welcomed by the British Sovereign.
Gathered for two days during the G7 summit in the UK, the nine leaders were welcomed by British Sovereign Elizabeth II and posed for the traditional “family photo”.
From left to right, in the photo are: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Commission President Ursula van der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suka, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Italian Prime Minister Joe Biden, President of the United States.
Govt-19, Climate …
Leaders of the G7 superpowers will meet in Cornwall until Sunday to talk about the devastating climate caused by the Govt-19 epidemic, the recovery of the world economy and the sharing of vaccines by rich countries.
The major powers, in particular, must “announce that they will provide at least one billion doses of vaccine against the corona virus by sharing and financing them,” a statement from the British government said.
This is the first face-to-face summit in nearly two years, especially as Donald Trump returns to the international scene of the United States after years of isolation.
