Windows 10 has undergone a major change, and Microsoft has implemented it from Windows 11

With the advent of the new Windows 11 operating system, Microsoft decided to change the tempo of updates it released in a big bundle twice a year for the older Windows 10. However, after the new release, the older OS will adapt to the new “trend”, due to which it will receive only one major update per year, informs the edge.

Under the current scenario, the previous Windows 10 received two major update packages, which were divided into Spring and Fall Updates each year. And while Windows 10 has become more dominant in the market, Windows 11 will adapt to updates.

Microsoft It was recently confirmed that Windows 10 will also receive only one major update per year, which will be released regularly in the fall. The next update is waiting for users in November, and we are supposed to see the next update in the second half of next year. However, this year’s November update will only bring minor changes that many users won’t notice.

This Windows 10 update system should run until 2025, when Microsoft plans to end support for it. This should happen exactly on October 14th. Until then, users can expect at least 3-4 major updates, which are unlikely to bring drastic changes to the system and will instead see only minor improvements in the background.
