Senior World Cup defender Petra Vlova has completed the first round of the slalom slalom race of the World Cup season. The Slovak skater won a time of 52.15 seconds.

She chose second place on the track. She didn’t make a huge mistake on the rhythm and built her progress gradually from start to finish.
The second was American Michaela Shiffrin, losing eleven percent of a second. Slovenian Andrea Slokarova finished third, 0.48 seconds behind.
“I am glad that I was the fastest in the opening race. But in the second round I should go much better,” Velhova said according to laola1.at portal.

Vlhová defended her winning double last year, also winning at Levi in 2017. At Lapland she also finished second and third.
