The French authorities announced, on Wednesday, that they were able to identify the paramedics who spread the covidpas of French President Emmanuel Macron with his date of birth and an assigned QR code. It went viral on social media on Tuesday.
The National Health Insurance Trust (CNAM) announced that any penalties for health professionals who misuse access to the president’s personal data will be determined by the health care supervisor.
A presidential spokesperson, who asked not to be named, confirmed to AFP the health of those fleeing COVID-19, and reminded that all health professionals have access to the Central Immunization Registry.

A QR code from covidpas for Prime Minister Jean Castilles also appeared on social networks last week. Internet users were able to scan it from the first photo published in the media.
Meanwhile, new QR codes have been assigned to Macron and Castex. They must be recognized by French residents when visiting museums, theaters, cinemas, cafes and restaurants, as well as when traveling by plane or train over long distances.
In France, more than 70 percent of the population is fully vaccinated.
Macron was diagnosed with COVID-19 last December. He was then vaccinated against him in May with a vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech.
