The United States tied Mexico, Cuba and Puerto Rico to qualify for the World Cup

The United States will face Puerto Rico, Mexico and Cuba in the first round of the 2023 World Cup.

The Americans, who won their fourth consecutive Olympic gold in Tokyo, finished seventh at the last Basketball World Cup two years ago and found their worthy opponent when they tied at the IBF headquarters in Miss, Switzerland.
