The Slovak national under-18 hockey team started the tournament at home for four countries in Pesani with a 5:1 victory over Denmark. Daniel Alexander Genko presented himself with two goals, and also added one assist.

Deputy coach Roman Sokora will perform on Friday against Germany and on Saturday against Belarus. The tournament is held without spectators due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation.
