The Saturday Family: Winter Landscapes in Surat

Creative workshop for families with children. Free Continuation of Little Art History.

Come with us to discover art in a fun way.

Georges Seurat was an artist, who created a scientific method of painting called pointillism. Seurat created his paintings by placing small dots of pure color directly next to him on the canvas. These tiny colored dots are applied side by side and then give the viewer’s eye the opportunity to blend the color visually, rather than blending the colors on the canvas.

Pointillist art is created using oil paints and in short it is just a pointillist painting. However, a more complex description is that it is a technique in which color pigments are not mixed, but instead different colored dots are applied to the canvas, which mix in the mind and eye of the viewer.

Family Saturday is an event that we prepare once a month, its goal is to create a creative space for families to spend their free time together and contribute to building a relationship with art and culture. Every family Saturday is different, we organize children’s theatrical performances, readings, creative workshops, regarding the current exhibition and beyond, reviving history and going back in time through costumes in costumes, creating worksheets with different activities and competitions.

The Little Art History Project is associated with the visual arts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The intention is to present to children and adults, through creative educational activities, what happened in the world of art and what the characters lived in parallel with the Rosenfeld family, whose relationship to art was also reflected in the architecture of the palace.
