The Ministry of Health (MH) of the Slovak Republic invites all returnees from Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Denmark and Norway to apply for a free PCR test, including the full vaccine. The reason is the omigron of variants of the new corona virus, which dominates Great Britain and significantly worsens the situation in Denmark and Norway. Health Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Eliášov said:

“The Ministry of Health calls on all returning Slovakians from these countries to request a PCR test at www.korona.gov.sk. This test is free of charge,” Eliášová said.

When registering on the site, it is necessary to indicate the reason for the exam “I came from abroad” and select UK, Denmark or Norway from the list of countries.

“Given the rapidly spreading Omigran mutation in the UK and other countries, people need to return to isolation and not meet anyone outside their home until they return for testing,” Elias said.
