“Interreg Europe will provide assistance from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the 2021-2027 programming period under the specific objective of the Interreg Better Collaboration. Growth,” stipulated by the Ministry of Economy in its submission regarding the approved proposal.
In the 2021-2027 programming period, a total of €474.3 million has been allocated to the Interreg Europe presented programme, of which ERDF support totals approximately €379.5 million and the national participation of Member States is €94.8 million. Funding from Interreg Europe 2021-2027 will be available to eligible public administrations and public institutions such as universities, regional development agencies, business support organizations as well as private non-profit organizations. The program is intended for the 27 member states of the European Union, the Kingdom of Norway and the Swiss Confederation.
The Government also approved the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic as the representative body of the Slovak Republic in the group of reviewers for the Interreg Europe 2021-2027 Program.
