And it grows and it grows.
Facepunch Studios has announced that the popular survival game, Rust, has sold 12 million copies across platforms. Rust was published in Early Access eight years ago, and wasn’t fully published until February 2018. Two years later, we also saw releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
It was the console and Twitch versions that made the game experience a new wave of popularity, which was reflected, among other things, in the fact that 12 months ago, the game set a record of 245 thousand players who played the game on Steam at the same time.
In a blog post, we also learned that Rust has sold 1.1 million DLC, the number of banned accounts exceeded 600,000, 1.37 million viewers watched a Twitch game simultaneously, and a total of 1.3 billion hours watched Rust.
In 2022, the game will have a new environment, new weapons, events, vehicles, animals and other content, while not forgetting to solve problems.
