Bratislava – 2 wins in 2 days and get max 200 points! She followed Petra Vlhová last year and entered the new season with a 3rd place finish in the Giant Slalom in Sölden and a stunning performance over the weekend in Levi, Finland.

With a balance of 100% in Northern Europe, she overcame four-time winner in downhill slalom, Mikhaila Shivrinova, and with five wins, she was the most successful woman in the event’s history.

The profile of Liptov’s citizenship is also reflected in her progress through historical tables of the most successful skaters at the World Cup.

The big crystal globe defender has reached the level of two-time Olympic champion Pernilla Wiberg with two victories in Lapland, and has managed to win fourteen slalom races during her career. Vlhová also has Peria Pelenová on hand, and she can settle in on a Sunday in Killington.

Mauro Beni’s stepson could catch up with Swedish legend Anya Barsonova (17) this season, and if she is healthy and maintains her current form, Yanika Kostelichova (20) will be the latest in the upcoming edition of the World Championships.

Shiffrin is the sovereign queen of the most spinning discipline, having stood the highest score 45 times and just one victory separated from Ingemar Stenmark’s record number of wins in a single discipline.

Vlhová also rises in the winning standings in all World Cup disciplines. With Levi’s winning double, she broke up with German Hilda Gerg and tweaked ’80s star Carol Merle.

Slovakia’s top female athlete has 22 wins on her account and it’s only a matter of time before she catches up with Pernilla Wiberg, Lisa Marie Morerud and Marie-Therese Nadig.

It’s also interesting that she’s only had four wins since Tina’s 14th Labyrinth. The two-time Olympic winner and globetrotter was led by former Italian Vlh coach Livio Magoni.

American Lindsey Vonn (82), who was judged by her compatriot Shiffrin (70), is still at the top of the historical standings. Among the active competitors, only the Swiss Lara Gotova Bahramova (32) is ahead of Vlhova.
