Project CD brings next-generation upgrades to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 towards the end of the year

In its new financial report, CD Projekt has given its full potential for the year. Specifically, both nextgen updates for their games were filled in at the end of the year. We don’t know yet exactly when it will be, but it will likely be in November-December at the earliest. Especially if they also meet the retail versions, they won’t be able to do so.

Cyberpunk 2077 will get more or less an update, we don’t know, until we pack it, but The Witcher 3 will also be fully equipped with expansions, next gene upgrades, and bonus equipment according to the Witcher series.

CD Projekt adds that it is full, but it will change:

“The goal is to release a new version of Cyberpunk 2077 at the end of this year. Thanks for the weight of lessons we learned last year, and given that this project is still in development, we can’t say definitively. A certainty that has not completely changed.”

In the case of Zaklnaa 3, the situation is a little different, mainly due to the outside team, which is Saber Interactive, a company we’ve worked with previously on Switches and those that have had updates in the past. As in the case of Cyberpunk 2077, the goal is to release this game at the end of 2021. Likewise, the development process continues and we must not be entirely sure that the full version will not change. But for now, we’re definitely aiming to have both titles at the end of 2021, and I don’t want a specific title at this time.”

At the same time, CD Projekt also updated the staffing schedule, with about 40% of the staff working at Cyberpunk, 25% working in the first expansion, 20% in Gwent, and gradually learning how to hire staff for other projects where there are more than 10%.
