NBCUniversal has launched the streamlined version of its streaming brand Peacock in the UK with Sky.
As reported JulyArrives at Peacock Sky in the UK and Ireland on November 16th. Currently, the focus is on platform content rather than SVOD, which NBCU claims has introduced peacock content in the ski areas.
NBCU claims that “thousands of hours” of content is available to Sky and NOW customers free of charge. Includes peacock originals like this Rutherford Falls A The last emblem of Dan Brown Including movies Oh brother, where are you? A Tower Heist.
There are currently no announced plans to release Peacock as a standalone streaming service within Europe.
Following this gentle release, Peacock will expand as a “content destination” in ski resorts in areas including Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland in the coming months.
