X-Man
13th-15th July 2012
“To be an X-Man you have to be a real animal” – Events organisers website
If you visit the X-Man website you’ll be left in no doubt what the events organisers think you have in-store. The UK’s only off-road long distance event is a rough and tumble race starting in Eastbourne (sea swim) before cycling across the South Downs (overnight) and finishing your (trail) run in Salisbury.
Having lived and trained in this part of the world for the last few years I can personally say what a fantastic location it is – although I’m not sure how much you’ll appreciate it if you are suffering through an Iron-distance race.
There is a criteria of previous experience before entering this race.
