Big Woody

The Big Woody offers athletes an opportunity to go long in the beautiful Forest of Dean area. The race itself is firmly established as an age-group favourite and its competitors are drawn to the intimate feel of completing a race with like-minded people.

The swim takes place in the National Diving Centre lake and due to its depth is famously chilly. The bike route is playfully tough, going through local villages on quiet B roads. The run is a multi-lap affair over a trail run and is the final sting in the tail.
