Event of the Year 2015 is now open - in association with the National Triathlon Show
Last year was an amazing year for long distance triathlon in the UK and Ireland – with more events than ever before offering domestic races fantastic choice, variety and conditions to race in.
Whether you were looking for a big event feel, Kona qualification or a cross-country challenge, the UK and Ireland has it all in buckets meaning that you no longer have to go abroad to get your racing fix and opening up the sport to many more triathletes.
Vote for your 2015 event of the year - voting closes 1st March at midnight.
Don’t forget to leave a comment below about why your favourite event received your support.
Your favourite iron-distance event not listed? Don’t worry - you can add the option. All iron-distance events in the UK are eligible. Please note that any non-iron distance triathlons will be removed from the poll if added, as they are not eligible for this poll.

Fantastic event with absolutely awesome volunteers and marshals
The Bastion at Hever was the challenging and rewarding event I’ve done (so far!) Every competitor was made to feel special and not just a number. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a real challenge.
Very friendly event, tough course, athletes well supported by cheerful, helpful marshals and helpers. One not to miss.
