Run? Swim? Cycle? Triathlon Show: London is the event for you
The Triathlon Show: London – Driven by SEAT (previously the Triathlon Plus Show), returns to ExCeL, London from 12 – 15 February. The event provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to explore the fast-expanding sport of triathlon, as well as the component parts – swimming, running and cycling - providing a great day out for triathletes, swimmers, runners, cyclists, fitness enthusiasts or anyone looking for a new challenge!
A wide range of exhibitors will offer visitors the chance to get their hands on the latest equipment, clothing and accessories, to pick up information on events and training camps and to learn how to improve their technique from experienced coaches.
Hear from current and former pro athletes, coaches, nutrition experts and more in the Tri Experts Theatre sponsored by High5. Speakers confirmed include two of the world’s best triathletes, the UK’s very own, Alistair & Jonny Brownlee. The former Olympic and World Champions, and current Commonwealth Gold medal holders, recently took part in the SEAT Tri Another Way Xperience and will be talking to visitors about the challenge, plus premiering the first episode of the challenge and discussing their plans for the 2015 season! Four-time Ironman World Champion and Brooks sponsored athlete Chrissie Wellington will also be speaking in the theatre - ensuring visitors will undoubtedly leave inspired and energised to take up new challenges. Industry experts will also be giving advice on training, nutrition, mind-set and more. For individuals looking to improve their swimming, cycling and running, the Surrey Human Performance Training Hub - Fuelled by Erdinger Alkoholfrei offers visitors the chance to measure fitness, challenge performance and walk away with a personalised training programme after a 1-2-1 expert performance assessment. Organisers urge early booking to ensure not to miss out as there is extremely limited availability.
Bikes, bikes, bikes!
The co-location with The London Bike Show means the biggest brands in cycling will be present including Cannondale, Boardman, Scott, Giant, Colnago, Vulpine, Canyon, Hoy Bikes, Mavic, Raleigh, Santa Cruz and Schwalbe, whilst retailer TriUK will be present offering bike fitting and some great offers.. Perfect for cyclists and triathletes!
The Show will be home to the 500m BikesEtc Test Track, providing visitors with the chance to try out the latest triathlon and road bikes from a wide range of manufacturers. Take advantage of the advice and guidance our exhibitors can provide and try out a variety of models to ensure that you get the right bike for you.
Swim Zone sponsored by Zone3
After buying a bike, the wetsuit is one of the more expensive purchases when getting kitted-out for a triathlon so it is essential to get the right one. To ensure that visitors benefit from the best advice, the Swim Zone will offer visitors Wetsuit Testing in an indoor pool. Offering the unique opportunity to try a variety of wetsuits from a range of top brands, with experts on hand to ensure you buy the right wetsuit for you and one that fits correctly.
Also in the Swim Zone, coaches from award-winning, swim-coaching company Swim for Tri will be on hand offering group masterclasses, 1-2-1 analysis sessions and technique demonstrations across all four days in the pool. If you’re looking to take to the water and hone your technique, these coaching sessions are definitely worth attending.
Running Workshops
The 3rd and final element is where a triathlon is often won or lost, and the Show offers a great opportunity to improve your running. The Running School will be on hand to offer visitors a 1-2-1 biomechanical running analysis at a fraction of high street price - instantly helping to improve running technique and improve performance. Again availability is strictly limited and organisers urge visitors wanting an analysis to book in advance.
