YOUR ACCOMMODATION

The residence is located in Albiez-Montrond ski resort, just 15k away from the start line of L’Etape.It offers a heated swimming pool, a sauna, a hammam and hot tub.

All the apartments have a balcony and a seating area. They include a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave and kitchenware. A private bathroom with a bath or shower and a dining area are also provided.

ITINERARY (18 - 26 JULY)

SATURDAY JULY 18TH 2015

• Arrive at your Apartment in the Alps; Le Hameau des Aiguilles in Albiez Montrond.
• If you are arriving by air, we will arrange your transfer**
• If you are choosing to arrive by your own vehicle, we will welcome you at the Apartments.
• Prepare for the next days activities.

SUNDAY JULY 19 2015.

Etape 2015: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne – La Toussuire 138km

Our transport will transfer you and your bike to the start at Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and be waiting for you at the finish in La Toussuire.**

MONDAY JULY 20 – WEDNESDAY JULY 22ND 2015

Designated cycling days.

Thursday July 23, Stage 18:

Gap – Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne 185km Mountain stage.

Stage 18 provides the following options for cycling to watch the stage:

Col Du Glandon : 21km from our Apartments

Pontamafrey-Montpascal 17km from our Apartments

Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne , where you can watch the race finish (12km from our Apartments)

FRIDAY JULY 24, STAGE 19:

Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne – La Toussuire 138km

The third to last day of the Tour 2015 will see the riders finish atop La Toussuire, where there was the infamous attack by Chris Froome on Bradley Wiggins occurred in 2012.

Our recommendation is to watch this stage at the Col du Mollard, which is an 8 minute walk from our apartments.

SATURDAY JULY 25, STAGE 20:

Modane – L’Alpe d’Huez 110km (44km our Apartments)

The penultimate day of the tour is a short stage ending on Alpe d’Huez as in 2011, rather than the double ascent the riders took in 2013 at the 100th Tour.

The start at Modane is a 3 hour bike journey from our apartments,

The more famous Col Du telegraph is also approximately 3 hours by bike.

Alpe d’Huez itself will involve an extraordinarily early start to drive the 2.5 hour journey

Note: Due to road closures between 23rd and 25th July, we are unable to provide any vehicle support for cycling activity.
