Triathlon Tweets

We all love Twitter, don’t we? Well, it seems like the majority of triathletes do and I happen to follow the very best of them. Everyday I spot funny, insightful, motivating and sometimes irrelevant tweets in my feed – many end up populating the stories you read on this tri-site.

Here’s a round-up of the best, worst and funniest I’ve spotted this week.

Did anyone spot Joe Skipper (@joe_skipper) on TV last night?

First dates is now on channel 4. I’ve actually applied for this so who knows, could be in it in a couple of weeks! :)

We’ve all been there…. Tim Don (@trithedon) finally checks his transition bag for that elusive bit of kit he hasn’t seen for a while:

Been looking for something for the last 2months or so final found it this morning……my run legs !!!!

Eimear Mullan (@the_e_m_u) offers what looks to be the least appealing offer of a lift that I have seen for quite a while:

If anyone is driving the IM Austria bike course tomorrow&would like company let me know. Or I can drive but I cannot guarantee ur safety

It’s not a comeback, but Rasmus Henning (@rasmushenning) is racing a long course race…. competitively…. and has called out some of his rivals…. no, that isn’t a comeback at all is it.

This is no comeback, but I will be racing at Swedish Long Distance Champs this Saturday in Motala. Will try to give the boys a match:)

Jo Carritt (@jo_carritt) leaves no stone unturned in her bid to train up for next years Escape from Alcatraz:

First outing in my @Huubdesign Aura wetsuit last night - it’s a hit! Had a few reservations about climbing over barbed wire in it tho’
