In the area of the Banská Bystrica cemetery in the Kremnička part, they made a place of sanctification for unborn children. It was created through the city’s participatory budget.
“A place of sanctification and burial for unborn children allows parents who have suddenly lost their expected child to say goodbye to him with dignity in order to deal with such a death and to heal the wound mentally afterwards. It helps to overcome and deal with the painful situation as they have to resolve the burial place of their children in A short time, which is often the biggest problem,” said project author Dorota Líšková, noting that creating this place solves the problem.
Part of the place of sanctification for unborn children is the central cross and alluvial meadow proposed for citizens who wish to be buried in this way.
A separate space was created by a plinth on the roof, where an excerpt from the composition “Ray of Grace” by Daniela Obšajsníková was placed. On the pedestal is a statue of Martin Hodachek depicting a mother and her child. Later it will be possible to scatter the ashes of the little girl around her.
“In our interviews with the cemetery director, we came to the conclusion that it is best for parents to bury a child in their grave. We know from practice that many will establish cemeteries in which they want to bury themselves later. The second option is to bury the child in an existing grave of the family. If none of the The above options are appropriate, it is appropriate to use the place of the gun and the burial of unborn children, which was created under the auspices of the city. ” (pleasant)
