This may not be the right way…
The current game industry in many cases revolves around keeping the player in the game for as long as possible. Literally making it a second job. Huge maps full of typical quests, daily quests and community challenges. But Ubisoft also added sarcasm through email communication.
If you’re one of the players who didn’t finish Far Cry 6, for example, because you didn’t enjoy the game, or because you didn’t have the time for it, an email from Ubisoft may arrive in your email inbox. Through which the governor of Yarra Island Anton Castillo “laughs”.
“You disappointed me. It’s funny to watch you fail. I’m sure you could be better than this.” And there is a message attached to it, “Hi Rojas. I wanted to thank you for being free to judge sharp Yara. Be calm, Yara is in good hands.” .
I remember getting these to watch Legion dogs. The game was frustrating pic.twitter.com/4nhIMmzAOM

This is a rather embarrassing attempt by Ubisoft to motivate players who have given up playing to get back into playing Far Cry 6. And I don’t know about you, but an email like that would have the opposite effect on us. We were running away from the game further.
However, this is not the first time that Ubisoft has tried something like this. Similar emails were received by players who left the world of Watch Dogs: Legion without completing the game.
