HBO Max, WarnerMedia’s DTC-based streaming platform, will launch in Europe on October 26. The first six European countries to offer this streaming service will be Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain and Andorra.
In 2022, HBO Max will be launched in 14 countries as part of a gradual global expansion: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. It is scheduled to be launched in other countries next year.
For the first time in one place, HBO Max will provide European viewers with access to the world of entertainment from WarnerMedia brands, including for example Warner Bros. and HBO, DC, and Cartoon Network, as well as US and international Max Originals productions.

In May, HBO Max celebrated its annual anniversary in the United States, and in June it launched in 39 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, reaching audiences outside the United States for the first time.
