LEVI – Slovakian snowboarder Petra Vlova will be the second in a row for her opening slalom performance this season in Levi, Finland, closely followed by top competitor Michaela Shivrinova.

Norway’s Kristen Lesdalova will be Levi’s first, followed closely by the top two candidates Petra Velhova and Michaela Shivrinova. After the star duo, Swiss Wendy Holder will enter the ring, who will return to the competition after injuring both wrists.

Number five awarded to Lena Doerr and Katharina Linsberger, the other favorites for the overall win, would start in sixth, followed by Michelle Gizen from seventh. Martina Dubowska, a Slovakian representing the Czech Republic, will fight from 14th in the opening slalom in Levi.

Vlhová has the highest ambitions

The first round of the opening slalom in Levi, Finland is scheduled to start at 10:30, and the second round should start at 13:30. Vlhová would like to emulate the success she had last year at Levi, when she won both slalom races at the Finnish resort and started winning a big crystal game. Also this year, underestimated nothing, she traveled to the Arctic Circle three weeks before the event began, while also sacrificing a parallel competition in Lech/Zürs, Austria.

“After Levi’s success last year, I have big ambitions. I want to attack the highest score. What would I be happy with?” I will leave the race to the top. I’d be very happy if it went higher.” Vlhová said during Thursday’s online meeting with the media.
