Fans’ nightmare never ends: Konami delays major eFootball update until Spring 2022

Originally, the first full version of eFootball was supposed to be released on November 11th.

Japan’s Konami Corporation on its website announce Delayed version 1.0.0 of the game eFootball Sometime in the spring of 2022. An expected update was to bring in a lot of content that is currently heavily cropped. At the same time, the release of the mobile phone, which, like the update, was scheduled for November 11, was postponed.

The move comes as a shock to fans of the popular football series, who currently have to deal with a limited number of teams in the game and only a simple match against artificial intelligence or online.

Recently released update 0.9.1

A small patch for players could be at least a new update release that brings eFootball to version 0.9.1. In it, the developers focused exclusively on fixing bugs, of which there are more than enough in the game.

No new content has been added to the game, but the gameplay itself needs to be improved. A number of bugs have been fixed and the graphics page has undergone a minor change. You can get a full list of mods to read on the developer’s website.

Konami promises to update the title regularly, but we will have to wait for the major version 1.0.0. There are a lot of problems with the game, so this delay is to be expected.

Fans have no choice but to hope that version 1.0.0 will be a complete successor to the previous year with the old name Pro Evolution Soccer 2021, which was just a seasonal update, but is still miles ahead of eFootball.
