Corona Virus: The Czech Republic recorded 10,967 new cases, 1,500 fewer than a week ago

The number of new cases of COVID-19 fell in the weekly comparison for the fourth time this week.

The Czech Republic recorded 10,967 new cases of coronavirus today, Saturday, down by 1,500 cases a week ago. The information was brought on Sunday morning by the portals Novinky.cz and ČT24, which cited data from the Czech Ministry of Health.

In the Czech Republic, there are 1,096 confirmed cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days. The number of cases has fallen in recent days, nearly 100 fewer than last Saturday.

The worst case with the disease is currently in Krumić, followed by Uhersky Hradisht, followed by Brno-Vidic, Umbrick, Svitavi, Prachatis and Char nad Sazavo.

Healthcare professionals in the Czech Republic gave 30,500 doses of vaccines on Saturday, more than a third a week ago, of which more than 25,000 were booster doses. Healthcare professionals have administered 13.8 million doses since the end of last December – about 6.4 million people have been fully vaccinated in a country of 10.7 million people, the Novinky.cz portal reports.
