Corona Virus: Protests against epidemic measures erupt in Austria

About 1,500 people took to the streets in the capital of Styria Graz to protest. About 500 people demonstrated in Salzburg. In Innsbruck, Tirol, the police estimated the number of participants at 1,500. A similar number of people gathered in Linz, Upper Austria, where, for example, the phrase “teachers against compulsory vaccinations” appeared. Some of the participants placed red roses at the feet of the police.

There were also protests in the towns of Bregenz in Vorarlberg, in Eisenstadt in Burgenland or in Lower Austria. St. Polten in Klagenfurt in Carinthia. The police did not report any incidents other than that people did not wear headscarves.
