Stephen Bayliss set to start at XTERRA England

4-time iron-distance champion Stephen Bayliss is the latest big name who has announced to race at XTERRA England, set to kick off in Cranleigh, Surrey on the 30th August 2015. Bayliss, who counts wins at Ironman UK and Challenge Vichy on his illustrious CV, has been drawn to enter XTERRA England as part of his double bid at the respective world championships in Hawaii at both XTERRA and Ironman.

Louise Fox 3rd on XTERRA European Tour after 4 rounds

After 4 rounds Louise Fox is looking good in 3rd place on the XTERRA European Tour series.

XTERRA Greece was the fourth of 12 races in the XTERRA European Tour, and the third of five Silver level events. Elite athletes count their best four (4) Gold and three (3) Silver finishes. Elites can compete in as many events as they wish, but will count only their best four Gold and three Silver finishes. How it Works.

Coddens, Erbanova win big

Kris Coddens of Belgium and Helena Erbenova of the Czech Republic each posted come from behind wins to capture the third annual XTERRA Greece Championship race at Lake Plastira this afternoon.

There were strong British performances as well from Louise Fox (4th) and Jessica Roberts (5th). This represented a career best performance from Roberts in her debut year as a pro on the XTERRA European circuit.

Pro Henry Sleight set to race XTERRA England

British pro Henry Sleight is the latest to declare his intention to race XTERRA England and will toe the line on the 30th August 2015.

Sleight has been to XTERRA England twice before, finishing 11th in 2013 (as an age grouper) and a DNF in 2014 (injury). He will be hoping to get into the prize money and challenge for top British finisher here in 2015.

Henry Sleight is targetting a top position in the European Series overall but had a rough start after breaking his collarbone before XTERRA Malta and finishing 12th at XTERRA Portugal in his comeback race. Now he has XTERRA Greece, Italy, France and England in his sights with it all to do in the big ones.

Middaugh and Snyder win XTERRA East Championships

Josiah Middaugh and Suzie Snyder captured the 17th annual 2015 XTERRA East Championship off-road triathlon pro race titles on a hot and humid day around the James River Park System in Richmond, Virginia this morning.

Both came from behind out of the water, took charge on the bike, and held on during the run. It’s the second career Richmond win for Middaugh, who last won it all in 2008, and the first-ever win on the XTERRA U.S. Pro Series for Snyder.

Jacqui Slack is racing on UK shores this weekend at the Ironman 70.3 Staffs race, fresh from her victorious tour in Asia that saw her come home with the XTERRA Asia Pacific tour title.

We caught up with Jacqui ahead of her hometown race to talk about her races on the XTERRA circuit, her homecoming race in Staffordshire and……. cotton balls.

Ruzafa and Erbenova win XTERRA Spain

Three-time and reigning XTERRA World Champion Ruben Ruzafa and two-time XTERRA European Tour Champion Helena Erbenova captured the XTERRA Spain Championship crowns for the second straight year this afternoon in Extremedura. Meanwhile, Lou Fox picked up a big 3rd place - her best on the XTERRA circuit - and big points towards the European tour title.

The win is Ruzafa’s 11th in a row since winning the World title in 2013. For Erbenova, it’s her first win since taking the XTERRA Italy crown last year.
