Bowden seventh in Chicago
Adam Bowden produced another World Triathlon Series top ten finish in Chicago, the fifth of his career. The Loughborough based 31 year-old was well placed throughout the race, which was won by Spain’s Javier Gomez.
Helen Jenkins wins silver in Chicago
Helen Jenkins finished second to Gwen Jorgensen (USA) at the ITU World Triathlon Chicago. Jenkins led for much of the run but was chased down by a fantastic run from Jorgensen.
Jenkins performance moves her up to second in the ITU World Triathlon Series whilst Jorgensen, the pre race home favourite, extends her lead at the top of the rankings.

Jenkins and Bowden set for ITU World Triathlon Chicago
Small British team takes on Chicago
A small British team of just three athletes will race at the ITU World Triathlon Chicago this weekend. Helen Jenkins and Adam Bowden compete on Saturday and Sunday respectively whilst Clare Cunningham competes in the International Paratriathlon Event.
With many of Britain’s top triathletes sitting out this round of the ITU World Triathlon Series in order to concentrate on Commonwealth Games preparation, Helen Jenkins could improve her current ranking of fourth.
