Alistair Brownlee ends season on a high with win at World Triathlon Grand Final Edmonton
Alistair Brownlee broke away on the bike to set up a lone victory at the TransCanada Corp. World Triathlon Grand Final in Edmonton Canada. Starting over a minute ahead of the chase group, which included Javier Gomez, Mario Mola and Jonathan Brownlee, Alistair ran to a courageous victory.
Jodie Stimpson takes 1st gold of the Commonwealth Games

Jodie Stimpson banished the disappointment of missing out on the London Olympics with this glorious win on (almost) home soil at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
Stimpson stayed with the main pack on the bike before executing the strongest run of the day to claim gold. Coming in silver from Canada was Kirstine Sweetland and third was taken by fellow Brit Vicky Holland.
Team GB wins ITU Mixed Relay World Triathlon Gold
Great Britain won the Mixed Triathlon Relay world title at the ITU World Triathlon Series race in Hamburg. In a nail biting neck-and-neck race, Alistair Brownlee brought the team home for gold just ahead of the French team.
Lucy Hall, Jonathan Brownlee, Vicky Holland and Alistair Brownlee worked exceptionally well together to lift the title for the third time, having previous won in 2011 and 2012.
Alistair Brownlee back to winning ways at ITU World Triathlon Series Hamburg
Olympic champion, Alistair Brownlee, won gold at the ITU World Triathlon Series in Hamburg, his first Series win of the year. Younger brother, Jonathan finished third, demonstrating good form with twelve days until the Commonwealth Games triathlon in Glasgow.
Hamburg provides perfect Commonwealth Games preparation
The sixth round of the ITU World Triathlon Series heads for Hamburg this weekend with two exciting city-centre sprint races and the Mixed Relay world title being contested infront of one of the biggest crowds the sport ever sees. Athletes including the Brownlee brothers, Jodie Stimpson and Helen Jenkins will use this as their final preparation race before the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
