T3 Triathlon announce next swim clinic
After running a number of successful swim clinics in Loughborough and on the Isle of Wight in recent months, Mark Threlfall and Luke Watson of T3 Triathlon have announced the date for their next event as Sunday 2nd February at Welbeck College (near Loughborough).

In a new series, we’ll be hearing from some of the worlds best off-road triathletes providing their top-5 training and racing tips. With off-road multisport growing quickly, culminating in the new annual highlight that is XTERRA England and we’ll be covering the international XTERRA series throughout 2014.
So, with that in mind, our first guest writer is Emily Iredale. Fresh from racing her way to 4th in age-group at the XTERRA World Championships in Maui, Hawaii and the result that took her there, that of 3rd overall at XTERRA England, Iredale is a top mountain biker and new talent to the sport. A mountain biker at heart, Emily has used her 3rd place at XTERRA England as a spring board to racing the series in the elite category and is a genuine threat to the XTERRA England 2014 title.

Here at Beyond Going Long we’ve been following the progress of this new Swim Smooth and Triathlon coaching camp in Spain, the Casa de Triatlo. Now 6 months in, here’s an update on how it’s all been going from Martin Hill, a certified Swim Smooth Coach and BTF Level 3 coach.
Trisports Lanzarote sponsor Cat Morrison
Trisports Lanzarote, the luxury triathletes training and holiday destination, have announced that they will be sponsoring one of the worlds top triathletes from 2014. Cat Morrison will be supported throughout the next year and beyond, and will be supplied with training kit and use of the facilities as a winter-training camp with which she will launch her assault on the international racing scene next year.
Debs and Darren Elliott, the gracious hosts of Trisports Lanzarote, toasted the partnership with Cat in style!
Cat Morrison will also be working out of Trisports Lanzarote as a BTF qualified coach and will be leading special training camps for triathletes of all abilities and levels. The first of which will be from the 3rd-10th April and will be focussed on those racing and training for a middle distance triathlon.
