ASUS introduced a unique convertible device with an OLED screen

The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED Convertible Keyboard with Detachable Windows Keyboard is the world’s first 13.3-inch device. The new Vivobook is equipped with an impressive OLED touch screen and a quad-core Intel processor. The integrated stand has a hinge with a tilt range of 170 degrees. There’s also the ASUS Pen 2.0 high-precision touch stylus, housed in a magnetic mount so it’s always close at hand. The device is possible in portrait and landscape mode, with or without keyboard.

With a 13.3-inch OLED Dolby Vision touchscreen that can display up to 1.07 billion colors, the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is excellent for all multimedia scenarios. The screen has a classic 16:9 aspect ratio, allowing you to fully enjoy movies and videos. It has PANTONE-certified certifications, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space for true, brilliant color rendering and DisplayHDR True Black 500 for perfect rendering of black and HDR content. The screen has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, an ultra-fast 0.2ms response and emits 70% less blue light than conventional LCD screens, so it’s more eye-friendly, TÜV Rheinland certification confirmed.

The multimedia experience is enhanced by an audio system consisting of four Dolby Atmos speakers and an amplifier that delivers up to 3.5 times the maximum volume compared to a standard amplifier.

Video streaming and cloud gaming require a fast and stable connection, which is why the device is equipped with ultra-fast WiFi 6, which is optimized with ASUS WiFi Master technology for a more stable and reliable connection. The bundle includes a monthly subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The ASUS Pen 2.0 is compatible with the Microsoft Pen Protocol 2.0 standard. The stylus allows you to write, draw or take notes quickly and comfortably. It supports 4,096 pressure levels, tip strength from 5 to 350gm and a sampling frequency of 266Hz. The four interchangeable tips have different textures in the style of 2H, H, HB and HB pencils, so the pencil provides a natural drawing feel. The USB-C charger makes charging easy, and many useful shortcuts can be activated via Bluetooth, such as creating screenshots or switching to the next slide in a slideshow with a single click. The pen can also be used with a free monthly subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, which gives you access to popular creative applications from Adobe.

The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED also excels in terms of productivity on the go. Simply attach the magnetically detachable keyboard and you’re ready to go. The keyboard has a spacing of 19.05 mm and a key stroke of 1.4 mm. The large touchpad is designed for maximum responsiveness and accuracy and has a smooth surface for comfortable use.

High performance is ensured by a quad-core Intel processor with a frequency of 3.3 GHz. It is also equipped with a 256GB PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 SSD storage and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. Intel Bridge technology allows you to run Android applications on the Windows 11 interface, and there are also two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm audio port and a microSD card reader.

The 50-watt battery supports USB-C Easy Charge, so you can charge your notebook using any USB-C adapter or power bank. The included adapter allows for fast charging – 60% of the battery capacity is charged in 39 minutes.
