Tim Don wins Ironman 70.3 Brasil
Tim Don sealed his 4th Ironman 70.3 victory inside 12 months, with this win in Brazil ahead of 2nd placed Timothy O’Donnell. Don won the race on the run, as is his trademark, to cross the line first in 3:46:55.
Alison Stuart Huntress was also racing in the pro category and would finish 10th in a time of 4:46:46 with the women’s title going to Mirinda Carfrae who won the race in 4:15:01.
Tim Don’s victory marks another step for his long(er) distance career, with the former Olympian demonstrating again that he is a threat for the Ironman 70.3 world title later in 2014.
