Taking place on Sunday 8th September, Tenby in Pembrokeshire for the third successive year, Ironman Wales has seen its 1800 capacity sell out in record time, with entries of all ages and abilities from across the globe.
Whilst Ironman Wales is arguably one of the toughest on the European Tour, its sensational atmosphere and spectacular setting has also earned its reputation as one of the best too.
IRONMAN has seen a record sell out across all of its events in Europe and IRONMAN Wales is no exception, with just 100 general entries now remaining.
Taking place on Sunday 8th September, Tenby in Pembrokeshire for the third successive year, IRONMAN Wales offers not only one of the most challenging courses amidst a spectacular setting, but is also renown for its incredible atmosphere.
Ironman Lanzarote, Ironman UK and Ironman Wales are in the schedule
PRO Philip Graves has given his season some structure by revealing that his big goals this year are Ironman Lanzarote (18th May) Ironman UK (4th August) and Ironman Wales (8th September).
Graves, who is the youngest ever winner of an Ironman after taking the UK title in 2009 at the age of 20, is looking to challenge at three of the toughest bike legs on the circuit – courses that no doubt play into his strengths as an ‘uber’ biker.

IRONMAN events in the UK and across Europe have seen demand for places at an all-time high in 2013, with 5,500 athletes signing up for races in the UK and over 30,000 to race in the IRONMAN European Tour that runs from May to November.
