Celtman is the self-proclaimed British answer to the notorious and legendary Norsemen. Raced over severe terrain it is perhaps best reserved for experienced long-distance athletes or those that come from a good cross country background.
This race is new to the calendar for 2012 and in my opinion, will be a fantastic ‘destination’ race for those who like collecting races on their CV.
At the time of writing the exact route is under wraps but the website promises an arduous loch-swim (cold guaranteed), tough road cycle (hills guaranteed) and one of the hardest run legs in the country.
The start/hq is in Torrindon, Scotland – a 4 hour drive from Edinburgh.
The 2012 race is now full but please do visit the website for more information.
