Video:Munoz Ward talks us through his recovery and race plans
Nico Munoz Ward hasn’t had much luck this season. A bad crash out earlier in the year led to a dislocated shoulder and associated problems. To make matters worse his bike was stolen in the same incident.
The injury has meant that he has had to withdraw from many of his scheduled races, including his home race Ironman Lanzarote, Challenge Aarhus and Ironman Nice. The shoulder even threatens to derail his bid for ITU Long Distance championships in August.
