Win a FREE place at the Outlaw Middle 2013 PLUS lots of Compressport goodies
Here’s a great competition for you from our friends at Compressport. Not only have they put together two bundles of compression goodness, worth over £100 for you, they have also included entry into the sold-out Outlaw Middle race, which goes ahead for the first time on 2nd June 2013. What a package! The Outlaw won our ‘Race of the Year’ award in 2012, so the middle-distance is one that is hotly awaited I’m sure.
This is a great prize for two lucky readers of Beyond Going Long and to win, all you have to do is have a read about the upcoming race and how compression might help you train better, harder and faster and then answer the super-easy question at the bottom of the page to enter the free prize draw. Simples! Good luck.
Two lucky winners will win:
- FREE entry into the sold-out Outlaw Middle race on the 2nd June 2013
- Just over £100 of compression gear from the super Compressport
All you have to do is have a quick read and answer the VERY easy question.
About The Outlaw Middle
The legend of the Outlaw is well established in triathlon folklore, but now there’s a new Outlaw in town! The Outlaw Half is all set for 2 June 2013. It will feature the same high quality organisation as the Outlaw, but will cover half the distance.
Come to Nottingham’s National Water Sports Centre on 2 June 2013 to undertake the Outlaw Half, where the start, the swim, much of the run and the finish are all conveniently located together, making excellent spectator viewing.
The swim takes place in the regatta lake. A single out and back course makes it easy to navigate. Then make a super-quick escape onto your bike. The roads around Nottingham offer great surfaces for fast riding and only the odd short climb to challenge you. The bike course will be fast, but don’t underestimate it – especially if it’s a windy day!
On returning to the National Water Sports Centre our merry men will rack your bike and see you out on to the run course. The multi-lap course around the lake and river path offers a feed station every mile or so, and is lined with supporters willing you all the way to the finish line.
The seamless Compressport fibre is exclusively woven on medical compression machines allowing for millimetre-precision compression graduation. This enables the stimulation of blood flow and oxygenation, evacuation of toxins, good knee alignment, shock absorption and the reduction of muscle vibration thus delaying muscle fatigue.
To win FREE entry to the Outlaw Middle and over £100 of Compressport goodies, just answer this simple question:
Fill in the missing word…. “Nottingham is famous for Robin Hood and his ***** men”
- A) Merry
- B) Iron
- C) Grumpy

Entries close at midnight on the 15th February 2013 and two lucky winners will be chosen at random. Whilst is is certainly not a pre-requisite for winning, it would be very much appreciated if the winners could blog a bit about their training and race day. Thanks and good luck!
