Jobs in Triathlon: Age Group Administrator
British Triathlon is looking to appoint an Administrator, based in Loughborough, to support the Great Britain Age Group Teams. The Administrator will be involved in the preparation and organisation of Age Group events nationally and internationally, coordinating travel and accommodation for Team Managers and support personnel, registration of entrants, publication of results, payment of entry fees, and managing kit requirements.
Other key activities include processing expense claims, confirmation of selection letters, and preparation of de-brief reports. There is also a high volume of telephone queries pre and post event. The role presents an opportunity for the individual to travel and attend events in person.
We envisage this role to be an average of 22 hours per week to be worked over 5 days. However, the workload fluctuates according to the events programme, which is mostly run
between April and October. We therefore require an individual with flexibility to vary hours according to need but we can also offer flexibility in hours worked in return.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, highly organised and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition, they will be customer and detail focused. Ideally, applicants will also have an understanding of age group triathlon.
For an informal discussion on the position, please contact Mhairi Billington, Performance Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone +44 1509 226157.
